This is a picture of our family beach trip to Hilton Head earlier this year. It was REALLY windy out on the beach...Titus wasn't too happy about getting out of his seat to pose with us. 

It is amazing to me how easily my brain is zapped of creativity...for instance, when I finally have the oppurtunity to think about a blog...blogging, etc. I am suddenly unable to put togteher one relevant, cohesive thought. Bah. Today the children thought about being sick. Tabitha in particular decided to take a fever with optional cough upgrade out for a test drive. Finding it an overcommitment, she settled for the sporty whining model instead. Son waits for the oppurtune moment to be upset, as though his allergy is silence. Peace and quiet must cause him a great deal of pain, fortunately he would seem much soothed by the sound of his own squealing. Consequently, this evening I was sent away for a while to sit in a Barnes and Noble and chat with a girlfriend. Non sensa bambino...but he slept through most of it, and I am seriously considering a new book about knitting, although it is starkly outside of my spending (and time) budget. Ahh, it is silent...I believe I hear Titus crying again.

How ironic that today is the first rainy thursday I can remember, and here I am...blogging. I want to be able to forget everything about my day and its requirements, but I have just realized that this is a total impossibility...between the large plant that my toddler just pulled up by its roots, and while I'm recovering and backspacing from that...she poops in her little toddler panties. Argh..motherhood calls, and the woman inside of the mother must wait a little longer to emerge.
